Programmes giving details of the year's events are available at the Welcome Table, which you pass as you enter the Hall. Once beyond this hurdle you have several choices. Members and visitors are signed in (fire regulations) and subscriptions and visitor fees change hands. ![]() Inevitably there is a bit of a queue at the door. We meet at Charvil Village Hall, generally on the 3rd Thursday of February, April, June, September and November. You can find out about forthcoming speakers in the Programme section. Five of these feature Guest Speakers, the sixth is an "Evening of Business & Pleasure". There are normally six meetings per year. Most Hexagon members are members of other smaller quilting groups as well, for regular sewing sessions. ![]() It also acts as a hub for disseminating information on local and national quilting activities. The group was formed in 1990 for the purpose of attracting well-known quilters to speak and give workshops, and to organise coach trips to exhibitions such as the Festival of Quilts. Hexagon Quilters is based in the Reading area, although some of our members live as far away as Wallingford and Maidenhead.
